WARRANTY

Q-quartz is a concrete swimming pool render product, distributed by Licensed distributors in Australia and 26 countries overseas. Q-quartz is made using the finest local and imported raw materials.

Q-quartz is warranted against all manufacturing defects for a period of 7 years from the date of installation. A further 3 year warranty is available pro rata.
Q-quartz complies with the requirements of the Trade Practices Act (1974)-Statutory Warranties.

The scope of this Warranty is limited to replacement of defective product. It does not extend to collateral damage of any kind. Applicators warrant their own workmanship.
This warranty does not extend to or cover the swimming pool or any part thereof which in the opinion of a Q-quartz representative is worn by fair wear and tear or has been damaged or rendered defective by willful act, abuse, misuse, negligence, inadequate or improper care or the reliability or condition of which has been affected by an alteration or repair carried out other than by a Q-quartz nominated service representative.
This warranty applies only to the original purchaser.
This warranty does not cover incorrect usage, abuse, damage caused by accident of other materials, movement in the substrate (i.e. concrete shell of the pool), incorrect long term water chemical balance or improper application.

Incorrect water chemical balance can manifest itself in the form of algae growth, mineral and/or calcium staining or scale, or erosion of the surface and pool fittings. Cleaning and water balance adjustments should occur weekly according to Australian Standards. If the pool needs to be drained for any reason, contact either Q-quartz or the installer for advice on proper procedure to protect the surface from potential problems. Draining of the pool without contacting the above will void this warranty and the installer's warranty for application of the Q-quartz.

A premixed cementitious product, Q-quartz should be used within three months of date of purchase. The product should be stored in a dry environment. Excessive long term storage or storage in a damp/humid atmosphere can lead to the development of lumps in the product, similar to that of any cement based product. Manufactured using some natural aggregates and applied by hand, there may be some slight variations in texture or colour. All site-works and hydraulics must be completed prior to the installation of the Q-quartz surface. The pool must be filled immediately the application has been completed.
Proof of date of purchase is required for any warranty claim.
